Self-Paced Prerequisite Course

As part of registration, you will get access to the Prerequisite Course which teaches fundamentals about the Harness Platform. This course is highly recommended for those who do not have significant experience in Harness NextGen and will set you up for success throughout the training.

The course is designed to teach how the Harness module works and hence is deployment target agnostic even though we use Kubernetes for some of the lab exercises.

* Participants will dive into the Harness Platform's core components including Platform Overview, Architecture, Resource Hierarchy, Secrets, Connectors, Delegates, Pipelines, Stages, Steps, Variables, InputSets, Expressions, Approvals, Notifications, Services, Environments, Infrastructure, and Deployments.

Day 1: Scanning with Harness Security Testing Orchestration

Day One is designed to further Security Testing Orchestration concepts such as SAST and DAST scanning.

* Morning Session: An in-depth look at scanning with Harness STO, exploring security testing methodologies such as SAST and secret detection.
* Afternoon Session: The course continues with topics like DAST, SCA, and container scanning.

Day 2: Scaling Harness Security Testing Orchestration

Day Two is a deeper dive in automation with templates and workflow integrations.

* Morning Session: Participants will explore workflow strategies integrating security testing into your Harness Workflows and custom scanner integrations.
* Afternoon Session: The final day concludes with discussions on, templates and governance with practical labs.
