Instructor-Led Training for Harness Continuous Delivery & GitOps

This intensive two-day course is designed for IT professionals looking to deepen their understanding and expertise in the Harness Continuous Delivery & GitOps module. Participants will be guided through a comprehensive agenda covering the essentials of the Harness platform, its operations, and advanced deployment strategies.

The course is designed to teach how the Harness platform works and hence is target agnostic even though we use Kubernetes for some of the lab exercises.

Self-Paced Prerequisite Course

As part of registration, you will get access to the Prerequisite Course which teaches fundamentals about the Harness Platform. This course is highly recommended for those who do not have significant experience in Harness NextGen and will set you up for success throughout the training.

* Participants will dive into the Harness Platform's core components including Platform Overview, Architecture, Resource Hierarchy, Secrets, Connectors, Delegates, Pipelines, Stages, Steps, Variables, InputSets, Expressions, Approvals, Notifications, Services, Environments, Infrastructure, and Deployments.

Day 1: Scaling Harness Continuous Delivery & GitOps

Day One is designed to further Continuous Delivery concepts such multiple services and overrides.

* Morning Session: An in-depth look at deploying with Harness CD, exploring services, artifacts, environments, and container steps.
* Afternoon Session: The course continues with advanced topics like deployment strategies, Git experiences, and manifest templating, culminating with hands-on labs focusing on multi-service and multi-environment deployments.

Day 2: Advanced Automation Strategies in Harness Continuous Delivery & GitOps

Day Two is a deeper dive in automation that is platform and pipeline centric.

* Morning Session: Participants will explore advanced deployment strategies in Harness CD, including pipeline controls, barriers, looping, matrix, repeat strategies, and pipeline chaining.
* Afternoon Session: The final day concludes with discussions on dashboards, governance, Audit Trail, and RBAC/SSO with practical labs.
